Some of the best new supercars emerge at Geneva annually, like the LaFerrari, Lamborghini Veneno and the next-gen Spania GTA Spano.

Feast your eyes on the extensive carbon fiber bodywork, which is certainly a step up from the 2012 Geneva Motor Show version. Other differences over last year’s model include a revised rear bonnet and revamped interior. Just like last year, there will be a limited run of just 99 units.

The 2013 GTA Spano is packing an 8.4-liter twin-turbocharged V10 engine with 900 horses catapulting it into oblivion. While the 2012 Spano packed a mere 820 horses, both supercars hit the 0-60 jump in 2.9 seconds.

Spania GTA Spano The interior goes a bit heavy on the gold ambiance. The gold elements on the exterior were more underplayed.

2013 Spania GTA Spano at a glance:

  • 0-60 mile per hour jump in 2.9 seconds
  • Twin-turbocharged 8.4-liter V10 beast

  • Total weight is 1,350 kilograms
  • 2 sequential transmission options: 7-speed automatic with paddles at the wheel or a 7-speed manual

Upon request, buyers can add a special electronic system to the 2013 GTA Spania that slices the power down to just 450 horsepower when the full stampede is not needed. That would help conserve a bit of fuel, rather than burning through a tank in a quarter mile.
