Here are some of the first shots leaked of the 2013 Aston Martin DB9 Super Tourer. The supercar was caught testing alongside Ferrari’s 599 and a Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG. Though much of the DB9 Super Tourer is sporting camouflage, some design cues can be deciphered.

2013 Aston Martin DB9 spy shots
The lights resemble those found on the popular Aston Martin Rapide and Virage, and the side profile sports a new line, deeply recessed along the door panel. There are sharper edges over the rear fenders and redesigned side skirts to match the lower front spoiler and trunk lid. Overall, it is a more aggressive Aston.
From the front angle, the multi-bar on the old DB9 has been replaced with what appears to be a mesh grille, though that could change.

As far as the new powertrain, we are left to speculation. Aston Martin may continue with the current 6.0-liter V12 engine with 510 horses and there could be an option of a six-speed manual or shift-by-wire six-speed automatic.
