Exotic Car Barn Find: Two Rare Aston Martin DBS Models

Aston Martin DBS

The occasional exotic car barn find is not rare, but a set of nearly identical Aston Martin twins has been found. The set of Aston Martin DBS cars were discovered stowed away for over a decade and have been shipped off to a garage for some revitalization. The twins engines are still turning, which is incredible after such a lengthy hibernation period.

Not one but two Aston Martin DBS cars have been discovered in a barn. Both are the DBS, with one born in 1969 and the other in 1970.

The twin exotic sports cars hail from a private collection, and had been nearly forgotten as the owner’s health declined. Twin number one is a 1969 Aston Martin DBS Vantage with a manual transmission. It is a rarity due to the fact that just 70 examples were created with right-hand-drive and a manual gearbox. It features a straight-six and has its birth certificate and owner’s handbook intact. read more
