Attention extreme automotive fans: The aggressive Koenigsegg One shall be joining its 1,140 horsepower sibling, the Agera, stateside. Now there will be two Koenigsegg supercar models available to the U.S. market, but only one Koenigsegg One car is coming. There are six Koenigsegg One cars total–with this one is coming under special conditions because it does not meet federal regulations.

As it stands, the Koenigsegg Agera is available exclusively at Manhattan Motorcars in New York. The dealer will also be given the privilege of selling the One. read more

The wait is almost over for the next Koenigsegg hypercar! The brand has announced that the Koenigsegg One will grace the stage of the 2014 Geneva Motor Show in Palexpo next month. The Geneva Motor Show is possibly the most exciting show of the year, brimming with new supercars and technology, and the Koenigsegg is geared up to ignite further excitement.

They say that not only can it top the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport’s top speed, but that it can get there twice as fast. The Veyron Super Sport currently holds the title as the world’s fastest production car, with a heart-stopping top speed of 268 miles per hour.

More renderings and speculation has been trickling out regarding the Koenigsegg One, a potentially potent rival to the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport. The Koenigsegg One could be unveiled as soon as November at the 2013 Guangzhou Auto Show. If all 5 examples are not sold already, they certainly will be during the show.

Just five examples of the Koenigsegg One will be created, and they are likely all spoken for. They will only be available in China and will likely set their owners back a cool $2 million dollars.
