But what is the Bluebird K3?
The Bluebird K3 was a Rolls-Royce powered speedboat that held the world waterspeed record during its time in the 1930s. The Bluebird took the record in 1937 with Sir Malcolm Campbell at the helm. It was an exhilarating time for Rolls-Royce as they powered over land, air and sea, some of which carries on today.
