Lamborghini’s latest hypercar, the Aventador, has already won numerous awards and the hearts of auto aficionados around the world. Not a brand to be content with perfection, Lamborghini has unleashed the Aventador J—an exclusive one-off version of the supercar.
Lamborghini Aventador J–windshield not included
The unknown buyer dropped $2.76 million for the privilege to own the J, with VAT costs estimated at an additional $523,700. With the tax money alone one could buy two brand new Ferrari cars…or indulge in hundreds of exotic rental cars from Imagine Lifestyles Luxury Rentals! We hope Mr. or Mrs. Deep Pockets enjoys the new ride, and posts videos of it on a track very soon!
Aventador J supercar
The Aventador J boasts 691 horses from the very same 6.5-liter engine as its coupe-style sibling and while it is extremely lightweight, it goes heavy on the carbon fiber. The J version features a special “Carbon skin” interior, which is so pricey that Lambo boss Stephan Winkelmann says it will not be used in production cars.
Another expensive feature of the Aventador J is the custom “Rosso Red” paint job—a hue that Winkelmann says is so complicated to apply that it cannot be used on the assembly line. Not to fret, Winkelmann says it may be possible to custom order the stunning shade, however.
The definition of fast
As for the Lamborghini Aventador J, there can be only one, and that was a promise made to the buyer from Winkelmann himself. The leaked Aventador convertible should be up for grabs for all within the next year or so for those envious of the roadster J.
