Over recent months many exotic car brands have unveiled plans for wagons, hatchbacks and family oriented cars, like the unforeseeable Ferrari FF hatchback. Bugatti was about to jump on the bandwagon with the Galibier, a far cry from the hypercars the brand is known for, but may be backing out of that idea.

Bugatti transforms perceptions of reality with mind bending speed and excess, the idea of a Bugatti wagon just may not resonate with the brand’s intended market. Bugatti CEO Wolfgang Durheimer does not think the Galibier is ready. A Bugatti sedan is a strange idea, and it certainly appears drastically different from its sleek predecessor, the Veyron!

While the Bugatti Galibier luxury car concept does boast 800 horses and luxury amenities befitting of a Bugatti, the 4-door concept is so dramatically different from ancestor Veyron that it may never reach production. The fate of the Bugatti sedan concept will be decided later this year, I am curious to see if it gets the green light from Durheimer!
