For Exotic Car Crowd, Fuel Economy is Less of a Concern

It seems that increasing concerns centering on fuel economy are less likely to impact buying decisions in the realm of exotic cars.

Luxury carmakers place the bulk of focus on performance as opposed to practicality, and enjoy a client base that does not necessarily worry about the price tag.  Exotic car manufacturers have been slow to join the green trend, though some are beginning to step up.  Even so, exotic car and truck sales are holding steady in these difficult economic times.Fuel Economy

Interestingly, some of the exotic models with the worst fuel economy have not experienced a decline in sales, including the Lamborghini Murcielago, The Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG, and the BMW M6.  Owning and operating an exotic vehicle with mpg rates that can be in the single digits can become pricey, just keep a picture of the car in your wallet-it belongs to the car anyways.

If you have little interest in the worry and maintenance of owning your own luxury car, remember you always have the option of indulging in an exotic car rental.  With an exotic rental, all you do is take the wheel and let someone else worry about maintenance, storage and all of the details that come with owning an expensive car.
