The leaves are changing, and so should your wheels! Autumn is the perfect time to bust out a new SUV, or luxury truck and indulge off the beaten paths. We at Imagine Lifestyles have put together a list of our top five luxury trucks for fall of 2010, to help you jump-start the decision making process! Our picks are as follows:
1. Range Rover Supercharged

2. Mercedes-Benz G-500

3. BMW X5 M Series and BMW X6 M Series

4. Porsche Cayenne Turbo S

5. Cadillac Escalade ESV
Making the top of the list is the 2010 Range Rover Supercharged. This beast has a Supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine with 510 horsepower. This makes the luxury truck the most powerful, high performance Range Rover Sport to date. This is a sexy and superior SUV, offering all the HSE LUX features in addition to the highest-grade perforated Premium Leather interior, with contrast stitching for both seats and front armrests. The overall design cues are distinctive, and the 2010 Range Rover truck is decidedly upscale, and off-road. Remember if you are not interested in investing, there is always the option of a Range Rover rental.
Up next is the Mercedes-Benz G-500, aka "The G Wagon", an off-road piece of luxury with an attitude. This Mercedes SUV has a military heritage, and was designed to perform the rugged outdoors, yet still maintain that sense of luxury that Mercedes-Benz instills. This luxury SUV is available with a choice of two different engines: a 2009 382 horsepower 5.5-liter V8 with a 7-speed automatic transmission in the G500, or a 5.5-liter supercharged V8 with 5-speed automatic transmission and the AMG-tuned G55.
The G class, including the 550,is loaded with standard luxury features including leather interior, premium wood trim, rapid HDD navigation system with aerial view, rear parking assistance with camera, bi-xenon headlights, rain-sensing wipers, dual zone climate control, and more-it is truly the lap of luxury. Mercedes-Benz G-Class rentals are always a good impression for that special trip.
The brand-spanking new BMW X5 M and X6 Ms are taking the brand’s luxury trucks to a new level. The 2010 X5 M has the same powertrain as the X6 M, but its structure and interior set it apart. The X6 M is slightly lighter and comfortably seats 4, while the X5 M seats 5 with a bit more interior and cargo space. The power management system is based from the xDrive system in standard X5 and X6 models, though it has been retuned toward performance, sacrificing a bit of comfort. The X5 M will come in a little less than the X6, with a base price at approximately $90,000. BMW X5 rentals and BMW X6 rentals are a fabulous way to get a feel for the series.
Now for the 521 horsepower, bio-turbo V8 Porsche Cayenne Turbo S, an understated and powerful SUV. This V8 is so powerful, it can compete and beat some of the V10s and V12s in existence, including the $412,000 2008 Rolls Royce Phantom. Now that we have your attention in the power department, lets continue with the fact that the 07 BMW B7 Alpina has 500 horsepower, and the Mercedes S63 only 518. The 2006 Porsche Cayenne competes with exotic cars in the quarter million dollar bracket, with over three times the power of a military HMMWV Hummer H1. A Porsche rental South Beach style is an alternative to investment.
Last but not least is the Cadillac Escalade ESV. Unapologetically American, this powerful truck is the leader of the savvy line that is the Escalade SUV family. This truck does luxury in a big way, with an extended wheelbase, a V8 engine and a Bose sound system-not to mention the most passenger and cargo space available. The second generation Escalade ESV offers enhanced maneuverability, a larger engine and upgraded interior. There are a variety of Cadillac Escalade rentals available, find yours today.
