Bugatti Veyron Vs. Porsche 911…what did they think the outcome would be?

This supercar drag racing video is a rare treat, featuring a factory Bugatti Veyron Vs. a Porsche 911 Turbo Switzer R750! Although the entertainment value is top notch, I hope that Porsche did not invest much in this challenge, as the brand is clearly nowhere near even with the world’s fastest supercar, the Bugatti Veyron.

I will admit it would be fun to challenge a Bugatti in any exotic sports car rental just to hear it roar past and experience the exhilaration. This is a race that Porsche had to enter knowing what the brutal outcome would be!

This drag race shows a Bugatti Veyron fresh from the factory, with no custom parts. This machine emerges capable of nailing speeds of 253 miles per hour, demolishing the 0-60 mark in 2.4 seconds. As you can see, the Porsche 911 appears to be far behind in the speed department!

Why would Porsche challenge Bugatti with a special 911 Turbo that clearly is not on the same playing field as Bugatti? Could be publicity, boredom or just plain balls. What are your thoughts? Comment below!
