This Week in Chicago: Jan 10th – Jan 16th

Head on down to McCormick Place this week to catch the 81st Annual Chicago Boat, RV, and Outdoors Show.  Winter will be gone in just a few short, or long, weeks and everyone loves taking advantage of living near Lake Michigan by boating all summer long.  One of the most popular events held at McCormick place each year the Chicago Boat Show features some of the latest and greatest innovations built for the water.  This may be a perfect week for a luxury yacht charter to get your sea legs ready for the summer.

Over 60 of the finest boat building companies in the world will be on hand this year to showcase their newest aquatic masterpieces.  If boating is not your thing, the RV wing of the exhibit will feature some vehicles made for living that are nicer than some people’s houses.  On top of viewing all the new products, the show will also feature a number of other attractions to keep visitors entertained.

One exciting feature coming this year is the Rail Jam, a 160’ landing pool that will feature a number of professional wake boarders showcasing their tricks right in front of you.  There will also be a number of cooking shows, kid-friendly activities, and a big-air competition for all you dog lovers out there.   Bring the whole family out to this year’s boat show and get ready for summer on the lake.  The event takes place January 12-16th and admission is just $10 for adults and free for children under the age of 15.  Imagine Lifestyles will be on the water all next summer with some of our Chicago yacht rentals and charters.  Check out the boat show and see if you want to come along for the time of your life on Lake Michigan next summer as well.
