Celebration Exotic Car Festival This Month—An Engine of Taste

Get ready to get revved up for a selection of the most exotic sports cars blended with enticing gourmet cuisine from world renowned chefs—and all in the name of charity! The 9th annual Celebration Exotic Car Festival is not only deliciously cool–it benefits children’s charities.

Famous cars will be on the scene to drum up the vibe

This is a 4-day event, slated for April 12-15th. The supercars of the show will take on Daytona International Speedway from the 12th-13th with an adrenaline-packed series of racing style events infused with celebrity guests. Ferrari fans will enjoy the 30 or so cars from the Ferrari Challenge.

There will also be a few famous rides showing off at the show, including the following:
•    A DeLorean from “Back to the Future”
•    Lamborghini from “Cannonball Run”
•    The Batmobile (No, not Justin Biebers…thankfully)
•    Landspeeder from “Star Wars”
•    Stephen King’s Christine
•    Speed Racer’s Mach V
•    The Flintstones car (great for the kiddos!)
•    Herbie
•    Mutt Cutts from “Dumb and Dumber” and the Lamborghini from the film

The annual Food and Wine Party will be on April 14th at chic Loews Portofino Hotel, harbor side. There will be over 50 local restaurants and celebrity chefs on-hand preparing an epic culinary experience, including several winners from Bravo’s “Top Chef” series.

Also on the 14th is the Concours of Exotic Cars, featuring 250 exotics, racecars and Hollywood movie cars along the lakefront in Celebration. This is an extremely popular and free event, attracting around 40,000 visitors in 2011!
Overall, guests can expect a few days of exotic cars, celebrities, 5-star dining, live music and a variety of charity auctions that will conclude April 15th with the annual Exotic Car Road Rally.
