Ferrari 330 GTO Worth $30 Million to Make Rare Appearance

While the legendary Ferrari 250 GTO may be one of the world’s most coveted collector cars, the ultra-rare 330 GTO may be worth more. Ferrari made just two examples of the 4-liter V12 330s, and now one will be on display at the 2012 Concours d’Elegance in Amelia Island, Florida, giving gawkers a rare glimpse at an even rarer exotic slice of history! This car even has a bit of luxury racing experience, which only makes it cooler.

Ferrari created just two of the 330 GTO prototypes with 4-liter engines rather than the 3-liter, and they were built for Ferrari’s own use. The 330 GTO is a cross between a pure prototype and a grand touring car, unique it its own right.
The 330 GTO that will be at the show, ‘3765’, is ridiculously beautiful and even competed at Le Mans back in 1962, though it did not finish due to overheating. One could overheat just looking at it, it is smoking hot! It is currently owned by Cincinnati’s Jim Jaeger and worth an estimated $30 million USD.
