In September of 2011, thirteen rambunctious Canadian teens raced supercars in an epic joyride, racing an impressive varitey of sports machines on public roadways. The illegal street race ended with laughably small fines and a list of impounds that could make Chuck Norris tear up (see list below)! Recently, one of the seized Lamborghini Gallardos from the event has been sold, and there are still a number of vehicles that are still in dispute.
The luxury cars created a sensation at the ordinarily drab impound lot!
The impounded vehicles were to be held for 7 days originally, but when additional issues came to light, several of the exotic sports cars were seized by the Canadian government. Now, 3 of the 5 cars seized last year remain in dispute with court cases pending. The owner of the Lamborghini agreed to sell the car for some reason, the details are vague.
The fast and furious teens had access to the following supercars, which were impounded originally:
• A 2007 Ferrari 599
• A 2007 Ferrari 599

• Two 2010 Lamborghini Gallardos

• A 2009 Lamborghini Gallardo

• A 2012 Nissan GT-R

• Two 2010 Nissan GT-Rs

• Two 2010 Maserati GranTurismos

• A 2011 Mercedes SL63

• A 2011 Mercedes SLS

• A 2005 Aston Martin DB9

• A 2009 Audi R8
