The iconic Pearl Restaurant & Champagne Lounge will reopen after 6 years on December 10th, 2011! The former celebrity haunt will reopen its luxurious doors thanks to popular demand, which has to be a comfort to owners Jack and Lucia Penrod. This is an upscale dining tip not to be missed…unless you really hate orange.

The Penrods say that people are always asking them to bring back the Pearl, so they are elated to do so. In its prime, A-listers including Jennifer Lopes, Matt Damon, Janet Jackson and Sting were regulars. Paris Hilton also made appearances on occasion. So what is so special about the Pearl?

With purely white and orange hip décor, it is an enormous 8,000 feet of awesomeness. There is a fur-lined DJ booth, ceviche bar and cigar room. This time around the focus will be equally on food and the lounge atmosphere, with a tempting blend of cultural infusions, including Latin American, Middle Eastern, Asian, European and American culinary cues.

On the décor, Lucia said,
​"I’ve been told the theme of Pearl is Austin Powers meets The Jetsons".

If you want to indulge in opening night, it is recommended to make a reservation (the number is 786-515-1150
). Doors open at the Pearl at 6:30 pm for dinner. At 11 pm, white drapes will be dramatically drawn back to reveal the new lounge and DJ booth!
