In auto WTF news, our friend Jay Leno has left us with our jaws on the floor again, this time not by purchasing another lust-worthy exotic car to add to his collection, but by purchasing the new Chevrolet Volt. Yes, you read that right, I said CHEVY. No worries, Leno loves Cougars, too.
Forbes has been having some fun listing the most valuable teams in sports. If the following teams were to sell, they would fetch some impressive prices, making them among the most expensive sports teams in the world.
Manchester United F.C. – $1.87 Billion
England’s Manchester United is a Premier League club and the most valuable soccer (football) club in the world. This could be thanks to the team’s 18 league titles, four Football League Cups and 11 Football Association Challenge Cups, but that is just a guess! I am wondering how many luxury cars, Bugatti’s and exotic rental car indulgences one could buy with that price tag.
Bugatti has always been a name synonymous with perfection, speed, power and poise, but did you know that the exotic car brand can now actually say, ‘Well, hello there, I have the fastest luxury car in the world…what’s up?’ Yes, the new Bugatti Veyron has many luxury carmakers out there grinding their gears. I would like to see this Bugatti added to our exotic rental car fleet!
Beyonce Knowles may well be the best girlfriend in the world, having bestowed a brand spanking new Bugatti on her husband, Jay-Z, for his 41st birthday on December 4th. She is a keeper! She could have indulged him in a special night out with an exotic rental car Miami style, but she went the extra million…I mean mile here.
Many Germans cringe when they hear Americans and others mispronounce the vehicle’s name as “PORSH.” The correct pronunciation is “POR-SHA”, after the German founder’s name. Maybe they should have spelled it “Portia”, like Ellen’s wife, it seems everyone knows how to say her name properly.
Sixty years ago, the first Porsche production sports car rolled out of a facility in post-war Germany—the city of Stuttgart to be precise. Now, with luxury cars and Porsche rentals Miami and worldwide, this is a brand to be reckoned with, even if you can’t say it properly.
TV star, Jay Leno, loves cougars. Not the car, per se, but older classic cars. Can I call them cougars? Most cars are referred to as ‘females’, after all!
The longtime late night talk show host and comedian is well-known as a geeky collector of cool cars, but you won’t find any young stuff in his garage. Forget the brand new models and current luxury rental cars Miami style, Leno prefers a bit of history with his expensive toys.
He bought a turbo version of the Bentley when it first came out in 1990, a GMC pickup followed soon after, but then nothing new for years.
After an extremely successful first summer open for business in Chicago, Imagine Lifestyles is proud to announce a new showroom and warehouse opening soon in Lincoln Park. It seems all the pretty ladies, ie. Lamborghini, Ferrari, and Bentley would prefer to sleep comfortably next to each other, and we have no problem with that at all. The new space will be conveniently located right off of 90/94 providing our clients and new customers with easy access to the new showroom and is a perfect way to view our fleet of Chicago luxury rental cars.
Looking at this eyesore-extravaganza makes me wish Bentley, or whoever is responsible for this monstrosity of a custom paint job, had the heart to tell Paris Hilton NO. Has anyone ever done that, by the way? I can only assume that she did not get to color enough Easter eggs as a child. This would never survive as a luxury rental car, so I shudder to think of what will happen to this Bentley once Paris tires of it. Speaking of tires, scope the rims she has on it, ouch.
Pam Anderson Jag
Up next we have the luscious Pamela Anderson! Oh and the Jaguar is not too shabby, either. Anderson is always on top of her game, and I like the classic white Jag, it will go with anything, unlike Hilton’s pitiful pink Bentley.
Bugatti Veyron, one of the fastest supercars on the planet, is perched to take the Indian markets by storm. As soon as October 28th, 2010, Bugatti will begin to sell their luxury cars in India, inspired by the recent success of luxury cars in that market. So far, before sales have even begun, there are two buyers lined up.
Luxury car brands Bugatti, Bentley and Lamborghini are all owned by Volkswagen, and will all be distributed by Exclusive Motors to the Indian market.
Bugatti is often the favorite, a truly spectacular sports car. The latest Bugatti Veyron 16.4 is capable of reaching speeds of approximately 168 miles per hour, nailing the 0-60 mark in around 3.2 seconds. The Veyron is rumored to be the current fastest car under regular production. I wonder how many exotic and luxury car rentals Bugatti plans to make available to the Indian market.
Do you know where the current most expensive zip code in the United States is located? This question will come easily to real estate and luxury property buffs. I will narrow it down- it is in California.
Did you guess the infamous 90210? While that was correct in the past, and the sitcom rocked, it is no longer the winner of the most expensive zip code! That coveted and prestigious title now belongs to Duarte, 91008. If you ask me, it is ok, it simply lacks that familiar “90210” ring that those of us from the 90s are so accustomed to. So what is so special about Duarte, and where, pray tell, is it?
