First off, we think the Ferrari F430 Scuderia is a nice ride. So here is some history on the Ferrari F430 Scuderia supercar. At the 2007 Frankfurt Auto Show Michael Schumacher unveiled the Ferrari F430 Scuderia. The F430 Scuderia was Ferraris’ answer to the Porsche RS and the Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera. The Scuderia is essentially an upgraded F40 with better weight-to-power ratio. The semi-automatic transmission gains improved ‘Superfast2’ software, for faster 60 millisecond shift-times. A new traction control system combines the F1-Trac traction and stability control with an electronic differential. The F430 Scuderia does zero to 60 miles per hour in less than 3.6 seconds and tops out at 199 miles per hou

Now that you’re more familiar with the Scuderia, we went ahead and found the top five Ferrari F430 Scuderia pictures on Flickr. Pictures are top pictures because, well, we like them but we want you to decide which picture is the best of the best. Top 5 Exotic Luxury Cars to Rent

Luxury is reserved for the rich but everybody deserves to indulge once in awhile. While owning a luxury car is a universal dream, driving one doesn’t have to remain fantasy.  You can rent the car of your dreams for the day and indulge. That feeling of stepping up in the world is priceless, even if only for 24 hours.

While it may seem that people own what they drive, looks can be deceiving. Down in Miami renting luxury is in and owning luxury is getting harder to do, in this economic climate.  Your average joe up to your average millionaire is renting his luxury, especially when it comes to exotic luxury cars. Whether it be for business or pleasure, renting is the way to go. Here are the top 5 most rented luxury cars.

1. Aston Martin Vantage convertible: $1,100 a day
The Aston Martin Vantage affords the most bang for the buck! The two-seater has a 4.7-liter V8 engine and tight handling. Go ahead and channel your inner James Bond.

2. Bentley GT-C convertible: $1,799 a day
The Bentley GT-C is not popular so much for speed as for space. The convertible seats four with a trunk big enough for golf bags or luggage. The Bentley convertible is the perfect vacation rental to make a statement with. Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan are just two celebrities that drive the $200,000 Bentley.

3. Ferrari F430 Spider: $2,299
The F430 Spider has a 4.3-liter V8 engine and does zero to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds. The $220,000 Ferrari makes use of F1 paddle shift technology, changing gear takes just 150 milliseconds.

4. Lamborghini Murcielago Coupe: $3,000 a day
The Murcielago is currently Lamborghini’s flagship supercar. Featuring a 6.5-liter V12 engine and the famous scissor doors. Lamborghini’s most expensive coupe starts at $350,000 if you were to buy your own.

5. Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe $3,999 a day
The Rolls-Royce Phantom convertible has a 6.75-liter V12 engine and rear-hinged suicide doors. The three tons of weight sits on air suspensions that can be raised up, an inch, at the touch of a button and returns to its normal ride height past about 37 mph. The Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead is the most sophisticated and most expensive on the road at nearly half a million dollars.  Plus, if you don’t like driving then a chauffeur can be sent with the rental. Go big or go home!

Prices are very subject to change, dependent upon several factors. Many companies like Imagine Lifestyles have a huge luxury fleet. These five just happen to be highly popular rentals, that make for many repeat customers. If you are interested in renting a luxury car, contact Imagine at 305.432.3205.

Another Ferrari Challenge Down. Racing Exotic Sports Cars is Fun!

Click for more pictures from the Ferrari Challenge 2009Last Friday night Imagine Lifestyles did a company dinner at Prime Italian. Prime Italian is across the street from predecessor Prime 112 and both restaurants are kind of a big deal on Miami Beach. We love Prime Italian but will warn you that it’s a really heavy meal. Probably not the best choice before a big club night out, our massive dinner was literally followed by bed (really healthy). In short, try Prime Italian; you’ll be hooked on an insane amount of mouth-watering carbs. Saturday morning we woke up at 6 a.m. for work. Our work consisted of getting into our 2008 Ferrari F430 and driving over to the Collection to kick-off the Ferrari Challenge. We told you about the Ferrari Challenge awhile back but if you didn’t read the blog, here you go. If you own a Ferrari or two then you can buy your way into the event but you definitely have to own the Ferrari first. The event begins with breakfast at the Collection, which is the ultimate fancy shmancy car dealership, slash exotic car collection in South Florida. Next, a police escort, escorts all the Ferraris to the racetrack in Homestead.  Think Presidential escort except bigger, better, and way bad. The escort consists of a long line of Ferraris legally speeding and passing each other through residential neighborhoods and such.
Here’s the deal, the Ferrari Challenge differentiates once you get to the Speedway at Homestead depending on the type of ticket you bought. Tickets start at about $150 which is obviously the most minimal, you get to wait on line for a once-around the racetrack. Tickets go upwards to $1500, which will get you three days of racing on the ultimate Ferrari Challenge course, no lines and baller status. Pay more, get hooked up, pretty basic. The Ferrari Challenge is an ultra exclusive affair and there isn’t a lot of information out there about it. Good news is that if you’re a diehard Ferrari fan but don’t own one or own a Ferrari but don’t want to rack up the miles around a racetrack all weekend, just rent one from Imagine Lifestyles.  We have a fabulous Ferrari fleet, all you have to do is plan for a vacation weekend during the 2010 Ferrari Challenge. The wife, girlfriend or significant other can sit by the beach all day, shop and hit the spa. You can drool over and race Ferraris like a mad-man, it’s the best of all worlds. If you give us a heads up we will not only get you behind the wheel of one of our Ferraris but we will get you tickets to the Challenge, set up your stay, even get you into the best restaurants, spas, etc. etc.  We believe in the very best, we know the very best and we can get the best in MIami for you.
The Ferrari Challenge ends amongst new Ferrari friends, more food, beverage and an escorted ride home. Not a bad way to spend a Saturday in Miami, you know you’re a little jealous.

Ferrari Auction: Exotic Sports Cars

The Ferrari Leggenda e Passione is an exclusive luxury car event that is held annually in Maranello, Italy. This year the event will be held on May 17th during the Mille Miglia and many fine cars will pass hands. Though, it is one car, specifically, that is making big news. Sotheby’s auction house is to present a 1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa race car.

Only 22 Scaiglietti-designed, “pontoon-fender” 250 Testa Rossa were made, between 1957 and 1958. Making the 250 TR one of the rarest Ferrari racing cars in the world. In 19 international championship races between 1958 and 1961, the Ferrari 250 TR won 10 of them.  The auctioning off of this legendary Ferrari 250 TR is said to be one of the most exciting motor cars ever put up. And this specific Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa is expected to break the record for the most expensive vintage motor car ever auctioned off. The record is currently held by a 1961 Ferrari 250 GT SWB California Spyder which was auctioned off at last year’s Ferrari leggenda e Passione for $10,894,400. A lot of things have changed in the past year but hopefully Ferrari passion is not one.

Get a Ferrari F430 Spyder off eBay

EBay is the online platform that transfers one man’s trash into another man’s treasure. Albeit a matter of personal opinion, one can browse the webpages of eBay freely selling or buying everything and anything. From a shoelace to a 2006 Ferrari F430 Spyder, which we, Imagine Lifestyles, have put up for auction. Buying a Ferrari off eBay may seem a ballsy move but someone is going to do it. The specific F430 Spyder that we put up on eBay has less than 600 original miles, 575 miles to be exact. This silver Ferrari was bought in New Jersey in December 2006 and repossessed right back to the dealership because that’s what happens when posers can’t make payments. Thereafter, an Imagine Lifestyles client bought the car in a single cash payment from Manhattan Motor Cars of New York. Our client had the Ferrari shipped down to Miami, Florida where the F430 Spyder has been garaged ever since.

The Ferrari Spyder convertible is silver, flawless and fully-stocked. There has not been a scratch, ding or dent, she is in sexy condition. Meaning this Spyder is as good as off the lot and has never undergone any body work.  If you don’t believe us then order an independent body inspection for yourself. The interior is black with special stitching; plus, upgraded carbon fiber dash, doors and steering wheel. The Ferrari Spyder has F1 transmission, Power Daytona seats and a Valentine 1 custom radar built into the mirror. Imagine Lifestyles already owns two Ferrari F430 Spyders, and if we were in the market for another we would buy this one rather then auction it off on eBay. We are paying it forward because everybody should be lucky enough to own a Ferrari F430 Spyder convertible. Bidding starts at $199,999 and there are three days left on the auction. Bid up for the Ferrari F430 Spyder, deals like this don’t come around everyday. Life is short, reward yourself with treasure.

The Valentine’s Gift He Will Love You More For: Exotic Rental Car

For all girlfriends, wives, lovers, etc. etc, without a Valentine’s Day clue. Do like Jessica Simpson did on her MTV hit reality show "Newlyweds." The deficient blonde who called herself a singer should be remembered for three things. One, being hot, two, being laughable, and three, getting her husband Nick Lachey the perfect Valentine’s Day present.

On Valentine’s Day newlyweds Jessica got Nick an exotic luxury car. Nick looked like he might die when a hot red Ferrari pulled into his driveway. Jessica didn’t buy Nick the Ferrari but rather rented one for Valentine’s Day. Gifting Nick an exotic luxury rental seems to be the only semi-intelligent decision Jess ever made. Rather than buy a quarter million dollar plus car, try renting first. With a good luxury rental company its easy, you get a beautiful luxury car, where you want it, when you want it, for however long you want it. First think about it this way, its cheap, cheap, cheap to rent for a few days rather than buy. Second, your man will get the same driving thrill and dumbfound smile from a rental. In fact, he’ll probably be more relaxed and appreciative knowing he doesn’t have to pay car insurance on the thing. Last, renting an exotic luxury car affords flexibility, he won’t get stuck driving the same-old depreciating car everyday. If you wanted you could rent him a different exotic car each day of the Valentine’s week. Even the guy who has everything can appreciate driving a different Lamborghini, Ferrari, Bugatti, Maserati, Rolls-Royce, Porsche, Bentley, etc. every day.

Put him behind the wheel of an exotic luxury car and we guarantee he will love you forever. Valentine’s Day is the perfect time but, ladies, this gift works all the time. Think about his birthdays, anniversaries, business promotions, black tie events or even as an "I’m sorry" gift. Or just rent him a luxe car to make an ordinary night out, that much more extraordinary.  If not for him then do it for you because your guy will look so fantastic driving whatever you rent him, that you’ll fall in love all over again. Enjoy the ride, happy Valentine’s Day!

Take Your Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano to the Next Level, AfterMarket

If you want a 08′ Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano, then make sure you buy the best of the best. It seems that aftermarket firms are doing pretty well for themselves. Building onto the likes of Maserati, Mercedes and Ferrari seems like a pretty sweet gig, somebody else builds the exotic car then aftermarket companies just beautify and add some kick. Novitec Rosso is a Dutch tuning company that has just supercharged the Ferrari GTB Fiorno.

Novitec Rosso kicked up the Ferrari Fiorano to get an 808 horsepower and 607 lb-ft torque out. The original V12 engine only delivered only 620 hp. The booster gets the already superfast car to 62 miles per hour in just 3.5 seconds and tops out at 211 miles per hour. The engine roar is louder thanks to a new sport exhaust system with a tailpipe diameter of 90 millimeters.

The exterior got a front lip spoiler, an optional rear spoiler, and black taillights, also available with LED auxiliary brake light and reversing light. The enhancement then adds 20 inch Novitec Rosso NF3 light-alloy wheels on front and 21 inch wheels on back. A Brembo brake system that features steel discs with diameters of 405 millimeters and six-piston brake calipers has replaced market brakes. Plus, for better stability at high speeds a new suspension kit was added, which is activated by pushing a button on the dashboard. The advanced suspension system can raise the car up 40 millimeters to avoid speed bumps and parking ramps.  Then, once you hit 50 mph the suspension automatically reverts to its original position.

Ferrari offers a leather/carbon-fiber sport steering wheel with flattened bottom, carbon-fiber accessories and aluminium pedals but for special clients the interior can be customized in any color and material. Think of the possibilities… All enhancements by Novitec Rosso, plus the Bi-Kompressor engine conversion can be yours for an extra $59,640. Don’t cheap out. Come on, if you’re going to spend $312,395 on the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano then take it all the way and don’t look back!

The Stallion Gets Her Wings: The Flying Ferrari 599 GTB Concept

A flying version of the Ferrari’s 599 GTB called the Autovolantor is, kind of, in development. The bananas concept is being developed by Moller International, the same Moller International that has been promising to turn out a flying car since 2000, in existence since the 1980’s with no production yet. Targeted towards the affluent, obviously, the Autovolantor would be a desirable sports car that could sometimes fly.

Designer Bruce Calkins has fitted the flying Ferrari supercar with a specially designed hybrid fuel and electric power system to run the eight thrusters that would give lift to the car, a system that Calkins believes would give the futuristic machine 800 horsepower. Translating to a top speed of 150 miles per hour in the air and altitudes of up to 5000 feet, for an air travel distance of about 75 miles.  Why a Ferrari you ask?  Well, apparently, the 599 chassis was picked by Calkins because of its distinctive shape and natural born aerodynamics. The airworthy Ferrari 599 GTB will conceptually have Back To The Future-like hovering capabilities for vertical take-off and landings, as well as wings and stabilizers for forward flight. Once airborne the car maneuvers like a helicopter, rolling to turn and changing pitch to move forward or backward, ummm we almost have a heartattack just thinking about some joe shmoe flying a helicopter.

Rumors suggest that Moller is hurting and needs new investment backing to take the Autovolanter to the next stage of development. Unless you feel like donating upwards of $5 million, don’t expect to see a fleet of flying Ferrari’s anytime soon.A production version of the Autovolantor, as unlikely as it may be, will cost something like $800,000 per vehicle. Worth the price of flying over bumper to bumper traffic, yes, but not worth the price of a crash, blow-up or crash landing.  We applaud the green efforts of a hybrid engine but are hoping this air-born vehicle never takes to the skies, leave flying to the professionals.
