Of late there seems to be a wave of young, hot, celebutantes linked with vandalism, trend? Paris Hilton was questioned about a neighbors keyed/egged Bugatti Veyron ; Lindsay Lohan did something involving eggs and the paparazzi; and, now the Kardashian’s new Miami "Dash" store has been vandalized! Dash Miami which will sell beach cover-ups, literally, just opened at 815 Washington Avenue on Miami Beach. Kourtney and Kloe Kardashian are in Miami filming there spin-off reality show "Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami", how original. Ms. Kim Kardashian, the more famous one, was only in town for the the Dash launch. And she wasn’t happy to find her store-window defaced and graffitied. Perk-up Kim. The media attention is good for business, the Miami Herald just put Dash Miami on the proverbial map.
The reality trio have been seen at LIV nightclub and, basically, all over Miami Beach. We wonder how long Kourtney and Khloe will last in the Miami heat. Somebody smart picked summer in Miami to film because nothing else goes on, absolutely, nothing will steal the spotlight. Good luck with the reality show, hopefully your store remains vandalism-free. Oh and so you’re aware, we will be keeping tabs on you as long as you’re in Miami! Thanks
Next Saturday, May 9th the popular Vivid Video Girls will host an X-rated bash at Karu and Y, in downtown Miami. Hanna Hilton, Nikki Jayne, Meggan Mallone and Savanna Samson will be celebrating Vivid’s 25th anniversary. The party will be going on at the same time as Exxxotica Miami Beach. Exxxotica is the three day annual exotic expo, the largest "adult" event on the East Coast. South Beach is going to get wild next week, more topless girls then usual next week!
In the summer Miami gets really, really hot. What could be better then the coolest watering hole on the beach? We think nothing. This summer you need to check out the Setai Hotel’s happy hour. Keep cool mingling in the lobby bar and lounge with sexy Miamians. Stay cool and zen all summer long at the Setai Hotel & Residencies, on Collins.
Bella Rose continues to draw in big names. Saturday nights have become just as big as Bella’s Black Sunday soiree. This past weekend’s Saturday Bella Donna Party attracted designer and celebutante Richie Rich, “PR King” Paul Wilmot, famed fashion photographer Pablo Alfaro and NYC ‘It Boy" turned Miami restaurateur Fabian Basabe. Plus, season 5 Top Chef competitor and Miami local Jeff McInnis. Jeff posed for a picture with us, while Basabe talked up his restaurant Da Vittorio, in Coral Gables. Bella Donna is on the up and up thanks in part to DJ Troy Kurtz. Kurtz is an unknown who is fueling Saturday nights, by day he is a student at the University of Miami. Kurtz has big talent and is going to explode on the Miami DJ-ing scene, mark our words. Props to Keith Paciello (younger brother of Chris Paciello) and Alfred Spellman (co-producer of Cocaine Cowboys) for bringing in the young talent.
South Beach clubs seem to end up going one of two ways: grunge, raw and rock’n’roll, or luxuriant and in a five-star hotel. Opium Group vies for the latter. While Prive and Mansion seem to have largely missed that mark, the more recent SET nightclub gets closer. Then the Opium Group hit success with latest spot, Louis, in the Gansevoort South Hotel.
Roman Jones is a managing partner at Opium Group and the mastermind behind Louis, an all-V.I.P 18th Century-esque nightclub. Which features a historic horse carriage, magenta carpeted entrance and gilded doors; guarded by midgets in white wigs and soldier uniforms. Louis is Versailles fused with burlesque but in the future. The 5,000 square foot space holds vintage crystal, leopard prints, baroque sofas, and French antiques.
Getting through the first set of velvet ropes is a feat in itself, so good luck. Roman Jones is usually at his table in front, entertaining very important people. You can’t miss him because his statue rests ib tge bar, his face forever immortalized in porcelein. We suppose the life-sized statue marks his territory, his table, his club and his proverbial being in South Beach. Roman Jones makes no apologies for his big white face statue or his strict door code. The code is simple, it comes down to big money, being hot and who you know. A Royal decree for high society aristocracy and celebutantes.
The front of Louis is lounge-y. Leggy, Marie Antoinette look-alikes in barely there uniforms bottle serve for the 30 private tables. A faux-library, pink graffiti and more mirrors shape the back room which houses the DJ booth. High energy music reverberates through a Funktion 1-designed sound system. Premier DJ’s like Samantha Ronson, Aoki and AM have already spun the night away. Viva la dance! Louis is a world of make-believe of misbehaving. If you can’t get in there’s a reason but give us a call, Imagine LIfestyles is happy to help.
"Dreaded by universities, praised by students–it’s the most notorious ranking in education: Playboy’s Top Party Schools." And the University of Miami was just ranked numero uno, muy caliente! The U had the highest Bikini index score, that is hot. The student body tans around the campus lake in between classes and beautiful girls show up to class bikini clad with books in hand. Frat parties get overshadowed by the South Beach party scene, where some clubs and bars stay open 24 hours a day. Playboy’s criteria includes campus life, sports, sex, academics, and “bikini, which combines weather, male-to-female ratio and cheerleaders." On a scale of 100, Miami defeated the University of Texas at Austin by 10 points. Sunshine U is the only private school to make the top 10 and while it’s no Ivy League, students can get a top-grade education while maintaining the party. Other colleges come to Miami for spring break, is that clear enough? In celebration of the number one ranking, Playboy hosted a party Thursday April 30th at Mr. Moe’s in Coconut Grove. The party which is five minutes from campus featured Miss May 2009, Crystal McCahill, and hip hop artist Kenan Bell. University of Miami president Donna Shalala is probably loving this, psych.
As you should know, it’s Winter Music Conference in Miami Beach this week. WMC basically means millions of DJ’s fly in from all around the world, there are millions of parties by the pool and all night. Like mad people partying 24 hours a day and dropping a lot of E, Miami’s gone wild.
Spotted last night at the Fountainebleau Hotel, Miami: DJ AM spinning the best music ever, Paris Hilton with new boyfriend of the month Doug Reinhardt, and little sister Nikki Hilton. DJ AM was totally in his element spinning at LIV nightclub, in the Fountainebleau. The thousand-person club was packed out and raving. Then Paris Hilton made an entrance with cameras following close behind, obviously. The girl feigns for attention, she was wearing more glittery jewels than should even be legal. Paris has been rocking short hair and a hippie headband look recently; last night she was wearing her headband with so many diamonds in it that it was reflecting off the walls and her diamond covered dress was so tight and short that nothing was left to the imagination. Hilton gave a wave to DJ AM, Reinhardt followed on her arm like an obedient boyfriend should, and the couple made their way to a table on the dance floor. Doug Reinhardt from reality show The Hills looked star struck and confused the whole night. Baby sister Nikki Hilton was first seen in the Gansevoort lobby with a few girlfriends, then, in the LIV bathroom checking herself out. The whole crew left LIV shortly thereafter to continue partying around Miami Beach. Tonight is P Diddy a.k.a Sean Comb’s private house party on Star Island. We will tell you all about it tomorrow, check in if you care.

Last Saturday night began at the Museum of Contemporary Art Bollywood themed, annual Pop Gala. Complete with red carpet, photogs and Indian garb dressed greeters. To the right of the entrance was the private Cartier sponsored Ruby Room, entrance fee: $10,000 for four tickets. When it comes to art, some people can still afford to spend. Upon walking into the museum, the walls were lined with silent auction items rather than art, big disappointment. Nothing caught our eye in the auction but it was all in the name of art preservation which is always a good cause. The crowd moved out to the back tent, a massive tent equipped with a separate beer bar, wine bar and vodka bar plus a fourth bar for good measure. H’ors deurves circled the floor and two long tables held Indian cuisine buffets, plus a massive dessert display. A dance floor in the middle and throngs of wealthy Miamians mingling about. The award winning song from Slumdog Millionaire came on and Indian dancers took to the floor. The acknowledgements for the Gala were made and then the DJ started spinning M.I.A, the older crowd cleared out and the younger socialites took over, the party began.
We left the MOCA Gala shortly after and headed for dinner at Nobu in the Shoreclub. After dinner rather then do one of the bigger clubs on the beach like LIV in the Fountainebleau or Louis in the Gansevoort South Hotel, we headed for Bella Rose. A local bar off the beaten path and hipster cult favorite. Bella has been making waves all the way into the New York Times by pushing the party envelope. Thanks to fresh ideas and an effort not to sell out, Bella keeps the high energy vibe where everyone knows anything goes. We weren’t sure if Saturday’s new "Bella Donna" party could match Sunday’s, Alexis Mincolla hosted "Black Sunday," it did. The fact that celebrity designer Calvin Klein ventured into party with the cool kids says enough. Klein kept composed, watching the Bella mayhem with a smile. Calvin Klein is by no means the first A-lister to make his way into Bella Rose. Klein is just a newby on Miami Beach, the 65 year old semi-retired fashion designer recently bought a 1920’s style Spanish Villa in Miami. Mr. Klein said he wants his new home to have a Mediterranean feel, as if it were “in Greece or something.†And just in case the Mediterranean home is too far away after a night partying on South Beach, Calvin can shack up in his apartment on Collins Avenue. As Klein knows how to live luxuriously and has an avid love of exotic cars, we are sure there will be more conversations between us to follow. After the last five New York winters, Calvin Klein felt he needed two South Florida residencies just to keep warm. As for us we danced like maniacs for the rest of the night, oh, and MOCA raised $60,000 just from the auction!

We live the good life people dream of, stick with us and you will get a taste. The Miami Beach nightlife scene is exclusive, fashionable and ever-changing. Florida Room lounge is, at the moment, part of Imagine Lifestyles’ weekly party circuit. Florida Room Tuesdays at the Delano Hotel begin with $20 cocktails and a musical performance by the Big Bounce. Piano man slash singer, Brendan O’ Hara and his beat-boxing band-mate Kamikaze are the Big Bounce and they have recently been attracting big name people into the piano bar.
Last week the big name was HBO darling Adrian Grenier. Scary Movie actor Simon Rex was at Florida Room as well but no one even cared. Rex was doing anything and everything to get attention but was ultimately just given dirty looks and cast aside. Adrian Grenier was the only big name worth talking about. Grenier had a table next to our usual Imagine Lifestyles’ table. He was very chill, charming and, of course, with beautiful girls. Grenier is honestly the real life version of his Entourage character Vinny Chase; he is the guy that every guy wants to chill with and every girl just wants. The only difference is that in real life Grenier also makes music, with his band the Honey Brothers. We knew Grenier played drums with his self-proclaimed N.Y.C. Hawaiian-Appalachian glam-rock band but we didn’t expect to get a private performance that night at Florida Room. When the Big Bounce finished set, Adrian Grenier and the Honey Brothers went to stage and gave Florida Room an impromptu performance. In the absence of a legit drum set, Grenier graced us with his beat-boxing abilities and back up vocals. The Honey Brothers have a special sound, there are really no words but imagine Ween, Weezer, Sebadoh, and the Beach Boys, with a ukulele, some French, a lot of depraved lyrics and you’re close. The girls went wild, SImon Rex sulked off into the hole from whence he came and that was only the beginning of Tuesday night.Â
The point is this, events like this occur every night all around Imagine Lifestyles. Watching Adrian Grenier perform to a crowd of less then 100 people is just an ordinary Tuesday night for us. Imagine Lifestyles knows where you need to go, who you need to know and how to get you there, elitist style. The life you’ve imagined is waiting, cheesy but true because at the end of the day we always know how to play with the big boys.
