Video: Google Cleared to Operate Driverless Vehicles

In an unbelievable and unprecedented move, Google has obtained a legal license to operate cars that have everything…but a human driver! The human element has been subtracted in Google’s “autonomous vehicles”, cars that can drive on Nevada’s roadways Kitt style (think Knight Rider)! Is anyone else creeped out just a bit?

I am not entirely certain I am ready to substitute a human chauffeur for a machine just yet…or if we should ever allow our exotic car rentals to be driven by a machine, but the good people at Google just may be onto something for larger cities. VIDEO AT BOTTOM OF POST

Video: Qi Megayacht Concept Boasts Luxury iQ

Toyota has the iQ hybrid car, and Feadship has the Qi superyacht concept…though the names are where the similarities end! A scale model of the megayacht Qi made waves at the 2012 Dubai show, previously unveiled at the 2011 Monaco Yacht Show. Another Ferrari Bursts Into Flames!

On the heels of the highly publicized Ferrari 458 Italia fires (follow link for full story on the 458 fires and see video at bottom of post of a 458 on fire!), a new Ferrari FF hatchback has burst into flames in China, making Ferrari the hottest brand around, yet again! The Ferrari FF caught fire on a motorway in Shanghai, with smoke billowing from the hood and onlookers left amazed at the aftermath. Thankfully, no one was hurt in this incident, though the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
