The good people at Lamborghini are perhaps a bit on the modest side for being creators of world-class hypercars! When the new Lamborghini Aventador was officially unveiled, the company claimed the top speed was 217 miles per hour, though the car recently outdid itself during a scorching lap at Hockenheim, hitting an astonishing 230 mph!
