The Ferrari FF Family Car

Ferrari has unveiled another first, the Ferrari FF. The Ferrari FF is the brand’s first-ever 4-wheel drive and 4-seater hatchback…yes, I said Ferrari hatchback. Are we going to see these family Ferraris parked outside of Chuck E. Cheese soon? The luxury car and exotic rental car market will never be the same.

The FF Ferrari is set to debut at the Geneva auto show in March. I suppose this could be a smart addition to a fleet of luxury sedan rentals Miami, for families and parties of more than two who enjoy the brand, and it isn’t as unattractive as I feared.

Maserati SUV Featuring Ferrari Power Plant

Ferrari’s power plants are highly sought after and heavily utilized by Formula One racing teams like Ferrari, Lancia, Alfa Romeo and Maserati. The brand also puts out some of the world’s leading luxury cars and exotic rental cars regularly. While none of that is surprising, it seems we may be on the brink of a luxury Maserati SUV sporting a Ferrari powerplant. Mind=Blown, hats off to Maranello once again.

Pink Lamborghini Owned by Acrobatic Pilot Grandmother Used it to Carpool Children

Lorrie Stern is what you could describe as a ‘unique’ woman; the grandmother of five is an acrobatic pilot with a passion for luxury cars. Stern owns a unique pink Lamborghini that has had quite the history, spanning some 37 years and including carpooling her children and winning the ‘Most Unique’ award at the prestigious Concours d’Elegance. It is a comfort to all gearheads that people like Kevin Howeth and his brother KC exist. To call these guys auto enthusiasts is a gross understatement, due to their naughty habit of strapping twin-turbochargers to supercars that are already packing in the power department! Our Ferrari 458 Italia rental Miami is a showstopper sans the twin-turbos; I can only imagine what that must be like on the track!

John Lennon’s Ferrari 330 to Fetch $220,000 at Bonham’s Paris Auction?

A light blue Ferrari purchased by the late John Lennon of the Beetle’s just hours after passing his driving test may grab a lofty $220,000 at Bonham’s Paris auction on February 5th.

It is a stunning light blue Ferrari 330 GT 2+2 coupe that was delivered to Lennon in February of 1965- the very day he earned his driving privileges. Nice. It would seem that Lennon had a taste for luxury cars and exotic rental cars, as a Rolls-Royce Phantom V Limousine joined the Ferrari 330 in his garage that same year.

Rare Lamborghini Colani on eBay Motors Falls to Pieces

A rare Lamborghini has emerged at an Indiana estate auction. It is a 40-year-old prototype based on the Lamborghini Miura, designed by visionary Luigi Colani. Currently, the exotic car specimen is in pieces, and on the auction block at eBay Motors with a minimum bid of $74,999, down from $79,000 last October. It looks like a crazy contraption, not quite like a Lamborghini. I am sure this vehicle is not from a fleet of Lamborghini rental cars as it looks like it belongs in the Museum of Modern Art.

While this would not make a suitable edition to our fleet of Lamborghini rentals Miami or exotic car rentals Miami, it may please an avid auto collector and Lamborghini enthusiast to own a rare slice of history.

2006 Ferrari FXX Evoluzione Expected to Snag $2.5 Million at Auction

A rare Ferrari FXX Evoluzione, one of just 30 built, is set to hit the auction block on January 21st in Scottsdale, Arizona. The exotic Ferrari is expected to fetch $2.5 million by the time the gravel drops at Gooding & Company. That is correct, a rare Ferrari is going to sell for the price of a new Bugatti. For those of us who do not have a few million, take comfort in the variety of exotic car rentals Miami style you can afford!

The Ferrari FXX Evoluzione is part of an exquisite collection of exotic cars owned by Benny Caiola, who was a Sicilian-born Manhattan real estate mogul and avid Ferrari fan. The collection includes the FXX Evoluzione, a 2005 Maserati MC 12, a 2009 Lamborghini Gallardo and eight additional Ferraris (Prancing testaments to Caiola’s brand dedication, I presume).
