Higher expenses have translated to catastrophe for Sparkle Roll Group ltd., which distributes Rolls-Royce and Lamborghini cars in China. It seems that for the first time in nearly two years, a first-half profit decline is being blamed on higher expenses. Don’t worry if you are in the States, you can still grab a flashy Rolls-Royce rental Miami style or a shiny Lamborghini Gallardo rental from Imagine Lifestyles luxury rentals sans issues.
Wait a minute, isn’t the Chinese market the booming exotic car magnet currently? The holy grail of money and investments? With all of the luxury carmakers setting up shop there, it is certainly surprising news that the stock for Sparkle Roll Group ltd has dropped approximately 15 percent in Hong Kong, marking the largest intraday decline since December 10, 2008, trading a full 9.3 percent lower at HK $1.28.
Rolls-Royce fans and movie buffs combine for this upcoming luxury car auction item: the 1936 Rolls-Royce Phantom III featured in the 2006 fantasy hit ‘Pan’s Labyrinth”. Too bad it is so antique, it could have made a nice edition to our fleet of Rolls-Royce rentals Miami!
For those of you who did not see the film, it is a gorgeous rendition of the luxury car marquee’s ability to satisfy and stun. I have the feeling the list of takers for this particular Rolls is potentially substantial.
After an extremely successful first summer open for business in Chicago, Imagine Lifestyles is proud to announce a new showroom and warehouse opening soon in Lincoln Park. It seems all the pretty ladies, ie. Lamborghini, Ferrari, and Bentley would prefer to sleep comfortably next to each other, and we have no problem with that at all. The new space will be conveniently located right off of 90/94 providing our clients and new customers with easy access to the new showroom and is a perfect way to view our fleet of Chicago luxury rental cars.
Looking at this eyesore-extravaganza makes me wish Bentley, or whoever is responsible for this monstrosity of a custom paint job, had the heart to tell Paris Hilton NO. Has anyone ever done that, by the way? I can only assume that she did not get to color enough Easter eggs as a child. This would never survive as a luxury rental car, so I shudder to think of what will happen to this Bentley once Paris tires of it. Speaking of tires, scope the rims she has on it, ouch.
Pam Anderson Jag
Up next we have the luscious Pamela Anderson! Oh and the Jaguar is not too shabby, either. Anderson is always on top of her game, and I like the classic white Jag, it will go with anything, unlike Hilton’s pitiful pink Bentley.
With the increasing chatter about the Chinese and Indian markets being the new luxury market leaders, there certainly is plenty to discuss. Now Bugatti is giving us a bit more to talk about, by bringing the Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport to India. But will the Indian market be interested in investing in a $3.6 million dollar supercar, the fastest and most expensive car in the world, to drive on predominantly poorly maintained, single-lane roads? There are multi-lane roads available in areas, but they are often just like the photo above.
By contrast, India is also where the world’s cheapest car, the Tata Nano, originated. I suppose you could say India has come full circle! Bugatti will now be joining the ranks of other exotic and luxury car rental brands like Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Bentley, Aston Martin, Ferrari and Porsche, who are all trying their luck in these emerging markets. For some reason I am thinking of the infamous western ‘Goldrush’.
While luxury cars represent less than 1 percent of the total Indian market, it has grown 10 percent per year, with positive projections for future growth. The target consumers for the Bugatti are the new kings of India, the 69 individuals who form the largest group of dollar billionaires outside of the States. These people, and those who already own luxury cars but crave something flashier to flaunt are the ideal audience for a supercar of this caliber.
While the company seems hopeful, the fact remains that the Bugatti Veyron’s $3.6 million dollar price tag is almost four times more than any other exotic vehicle sold in India, and that includes the ultra-luxe Rolls-Royce Phantom and the Maybach. True to luxury car marketing strategy, only 150 units of the Veyron will be produced, which should work in the company’s favor, revving up that exclusive appeal.
But I am still curious who would want to drop $3.6 million on a car that will spend the majority of its life in bottleneck traffic and ricocheting between potholes? I recommend a Bugatti-hovercraft for the Indian market.
Most do not typically associate the Aston Martin brand with luxury SUV, yet that seemed to be in their radar in 2009 when they brought back the Lagonda brand in the form of an SUV concept. An Aston Martin SUV? What do you think happened? The world said ‘no thanks’.
Yes, by 2010 Aston Martin made the executive decision to stop that one in its tracks. Personally, I like the concept, it looks like a luxury SUV, yet still boasts the traditional Aston appearance. It seems the Aston Martin Rapide is destined to be the anomaly of the brand, being the solitary non-sports supercar. The Aston Lagonda debut was an industry fizzle, to say the least, so best the brand focus on what it does best and that is blow minds with diminutive super sports cars. But wait, what is that rumor? Aston is creating a Lagonda version of the Rapide sedan? Is the Rapide ok with this?
When you think of an exotic car rental, some see a sparkling red Ferrari and hear the orgasmic hum of many, many horses. While there is certainly nothing wrong with the described mental image, some forget about the old school glamour of a classic Rolls Royce.
You look like you have seen a ghost. Before you get to absorbed in flashbacks of days gone by, take a gander at the modern and fresh Rolls Royce rental car, our Ghost.
The body of the Rolls Ghost retains most of the classic design cues that we all love, yet projects a modern and edgy vibe following a makeover. The Ghost rental is an excellent choice to impress clients, celebrate a special event, indulge in an anniversary, or be chauffeured for that intimate occasion!
So you are rollin’ in a Rolls Royce luxury car, you big shot. If you are lucky enough to slide behind the wheel of one of the world’s finest exotic cars, including a Rolls Royce or Rolls Royce rental, we hope you exercise better judgment than some of the individuals in this video!
1. This classic Rolls Royce found its way into a swimming pool! While this appears to be an upscale property, no one wants to see about $400,000 to $500,000 saturated with chlorine…I can only assume alcohol played a role in this disaster!
2. I do not believe that Rolls Royce was consulted prior to this custom paint disaster. This custom Rolls Royce paintjob could not be further from the classic look the company is known for, going instead for a loud and racy circus feel-a true eyesore! If this were a Rolls Royce rental, I have a feeling it would eventually sport spider webs in that luxury grille and a nice coat of dust.
3. A Rolls sporting huge Mariah Carey likenesses…enough said. What’s next, a Mary-Kay Rolls in fuchsia?
4. This Rolls seems to have rolled its way into the house…as a decoration? A true brand fan can be quite quirky when it comes to expressing love for their choice of luxury cars.
5. It seems that this owner failed to realize that a luxury supercar like a Rolls Royce is exquisite enough on its own, and that an intricate paintjob like this is a complete overkill!
6. Check out this Rolls Royce! It doubles as a snow-sled! Are you kidding me?
7. Just what every exotic and luxury rental car fanatic has been waiting for-the safari edition Rolls Royce! Barbie would be jealous.
8. This is what can happen if you carelessly park your $400,000 luxury car in the wrong neighborhood! If you can afford a Rolls, you can afford to valet.
9. This Rolls resembles a hearse, and also doubles as a U-Haul, what more can you ask for?
10. Again, leaving that much money perched at a parking meter is just inviting disaster…a jealous passerby could scratch it, or it could be door-dinged, costing thousands in retouching. This is not a Honda Accord; it is a freaking Rolls Royce and should be protected like one!
People love luxury cars. When you are walking down the street your head always turns when a nice exotic sports car parked on side of the road. Some people stare and other love to take a picture to capture the moment. Imagine Lifestyles have found some interesting shots of people posing in front of luxury and exotic cars.
The 2010 Rolls Royce Ghost may well be the baddest addition to luxury sedans worldwide, and by bad I mean good.
Yes, the latest luxury sedan put forth by Rolls Royce is solidly positioned as a sort of entry-level piece, with a price tag of around a quarter million dollars.
Entry-level, you ask? Well yes, with the knowledge that sibling Phantom is $380,000. Today’s Ghost also seems to be a bargain when compared to predecessors the Silver Ghosts, which ran from 1906-1926 and are valued well into the millions.
