I am a reader of your blog and a fan. I am about to propose to my girlfriend of 2 years, and have been researching ideas for how to pop the question. I have considered renting a luxury car, or maybe a private yacht for a day to surprise her. What awesome proposals have you helped with in the past, and what do you recommend? Any tips would be helpful.
On top of being a Bugatti, this mega-brand gets the added perk of being the fastest luxury car available right now. I love the aluminum W16 Engine with the astounding 1001 horses. Yum. The base price of $1,700,000 is totally worth this badass sports car…I may even trade my dignity in for one.
The SSC Ultimate Aero shoots up to 257 mph, much like an arrow. And it hits the 0-60 mark in 2.7 head-jerking seconds (insert dirty joke). It boasts a hot V8 Twin-Turbo engine with 1183 horses with a base price of $654,000. That price is a bit more palatable than the Bugatti. This was the fastest car in the world from March of 2007 until July 2010, when the Bugatti Veyron flew by it.
While it will likely remain a concept, the Lamborghini Indomable is certainly some food for thought, eye candy to be exact. What is so special about this concept Lamborghini? For starters, it is based on a mash between the Gallardo and an F22 jet fighter. Yes please.
Lamborghini took time out of its packed schedule touting the new Jota is the potential replacement for the Murcielago to help inspired students with this concept. The Lamborghini Indomable was designed and developed by students Daniel Chinchilla Ochoa and Alberto Fernandez Albilares at the Scuola Politecnica di Design Master in collaboration with Lamborghini. The project was overseen by head of the Centro Stile Filipo Perini and designer Alessandro Salvagnin.
The Lamborghini concept’s exterior is unbelievable, with even more lines and curves than the already voluptuous design cues that are classically Lambo. Oh and it is inspired by the next generation stealth F22 jet fighters, making it the Chuck Norris of Lamborghinis. While this is awesome, it is not the first time a luxury car has taken design cues from a jet, remember the Range Rover’s interior, inspired by a cockpit? Thank you Design Q!
The Indomable Lambo in its concept phase is a V10 supercar, with an engine visible through a Y-shaped class surface reminiscent of the F22 Raptor. The bonnet boasts elements borrowed from the jet, with rectangular intakes to cool the brakes. The rear of the Lambo features a taillight that doubles as a wing, integrating LED lights with a honeycomb shape.
According to the students,

“The side view shows an abstraction of a folded wing, which gives the feeling that the car is waiting for the action, like a jetfighter before the take off in a carrier."
I, for one, want to see this supercar concept bolt right off the paper and into garages and showrooms around the world. Perhaps if it could also fly…
As outlandish at it seems, four-door luxury coupes are timidly emerging as an increasing market niche. Previously a miniscule sector of the automotive market, luxury cars like the Mercedes CLS were among the pioneers that began pushing the four-door sedan to the forefront. So who is following suit? Ferrari? Really?
Yes, in the wake of commercial success by the Mercedes CLS and a few brave souls, indications show that the Prancing Horses are prepping to add additional entrances and exits. Previously ruled out in the past, rumors are running wild that the luxury carmaker is having a change of heart.
Plans for the four-door Ferrari are based on the replacement for the 612 Scaglietti, which is scheduled to emerge onto the market in 2012. The 2012 Scaglietti will boast the company’s first hybrid system, but will feature only two doors. Imagine a Ferrari that features both four doors and a hybrid powertrain, a first for both endeavors. The future looks green and roomy for this luxe car company. This is a perfect vehicle to add to a fleet of Miami exotic rental cars.
Two wannabe racecar drivers are likely not happy these days in Austria. It seems the drivers of a Lamborghini and an Audi (models not mentioned) opted to transform the regular highways into their own personal racetracks, hitting speeds of up to 170 miles per hour before police broke up their street race. It seems they were only legends in their own minds, or completely out of them.
The Lambo was clocked at 274 kph, or 170 mph, and the Audi was tugging along at an impressive 233 kph, or144 mph. Unfortunately for the two Steve Nash’s, the local law enforcement officers were not impressed, and stopped them near the A1 western motorway’s Steinhäusl exit, following an 80 kilometer (49 mile) chase.
The Lamborghini Gallardo rental car is Lamborghini’s most-produced model ever made by the company. Named after a famous breed of fighting bull, the Lamborghini Gallardo provides plenty of power for the lucky owner or client. Our Gallardo exotic rental car has an advanced six-speed transmission, which enables much faster and easier shifting for the driver. The electro-hydraulically controlled transmission is controlled as the driver shifts with paddles located just behind the steering wheel. The Gallardo also has the option of being driven in an automatic mode as well as an automatic sport mode giving the driver a plethora of options. Take a test drive in this exotic rental car this weekend in Chicago.

Wouldn’t life be so much easier if you could easily conduct business transactions without having to ‘watch your back’ constantly? It seems to be the most frustrating in the automotive arena, with sales people, mechanics and even unsavory rental car people. Here are some tips for avoiding luxury rental car scams and practices.
Renting a car or luxury car should be a simple and straightforward deal. But as things often go, many rental car companies are just out there trying to scam and squeeze their customers.
Imagine Lifestyles Chicago has a very diverse fleet of luxury and exotic automobiles for rent in and around the Chicago area. I almost feel guilty trying to choose just five that I feel are worthy of a mention here since I happen to be quite a fan of each one. However, for literary purposes let’s give it a go and see what I come up with. Some people might interpret what exactly makes a car exotic vs. luxury but I think this list will be pretty exotic compared to what most people have in their garages. Drum roll please…. Here is a list of our Top 5 cars that are rented the most from our fleet of Chicago luxury rental cars.
1. Ferrari F430
2. Aston Martin Vantage
3. Porsche 911 Turbo
4. Bentley GTC Mulliner 5. Lamborghini Gallardo
1. Ferrari F430. I think the name speaks for itself. Ferrari is about as exotic as it gets in the world of automobiles. With a top speed of around 200 MPH and a 0-60 time of 4 seconds there won’t be anyone faster on Lake Shore Drive the day you rent this masterpiece on wheels. The F430 is a car that should be driven at least once in every man’s lifetime. Imagine lifestyes is proud to have the F430 within our fleet of Ferrari rental cars.
People love luxury cars. When you are walking down the street your head always turns when a nice exotic sports car parked on side of the road. Some people stare and other love to take a picture to capture the moment. Imagine Lifestyles have found some interesting shots of people posing in front of luxury and exotic cars.
Luxury carmaker Lamborghini is apparently into trying new positions, market positions that is, as it is altering some of its design tactics.
The company has vocalized in interviews that there is a shift in focus from top speed to design, because many drivers will never take their Lambo past 200 miles per hour anyways. What? Who wouldn’t burn to take their shiny new Lamborghini up to top speed, if not just to see if you got your money’s worth? That is like buying a Smartphone and only using to make calls.
